Call Me Lisbon
Call Me Lisbon
QUEER FESTIVAL X MUSA
Skip boring tourist guides and speak directly with the city on WhatsApp.
When you have limited time to see a city,
you want to make it count, which means a no-no for tourist traps. What if you had a local ready to text you back 24/7 when you have a question or need a quick tip, before or after your arrival? Making cities feel more authentic, personal, and homelike through WhatsApp (real local people, not bots).
It was necessary to create not only the name, logo, and value proposition, but also a concept and communication materials for the launch of the service, including the website where the user can subscribe to it.
The idea behind the ‘Call Me Lisbon’ brand is all about skipping the middleman and the tourist traps, and speak directly with the city. The name, in addition to being simple and clear, also allows the brand to grow in new cities: ‘Call Me [city]’.
The tagline chosen to summarize the promise of this new service was “Make each city speak to you”.
The visual language and communication strategy reinforces this idea that we are receiving information without filters, directly from the source.
This project was executed in Design Sprints, an intense methodology with a startup spirit.
